Vivekananda Rock Memorial has been inaugurated in 1970, and after a 2 years in it's sequel to do work on ideal of Swami Vivekananda, Vivekananda Kendra founded in 1972. The core of Vivekananda Kendra is YOGA. YOGA derives from Samskrut word YUJ, means to join - together. Join our eternal soul with our body, join individual to family, family to society, society to universe, and universe to eternal soul which is "PURN". Any one who believe in total harmony of man-kind as well as entire universe can work through Vivekananda Kendra as a Volunteer. Vivekananda Kendra has more then 250 branches across INDIA.
